Three Hills Capital Partners and the other shareholders of SEC Newgate will retain their shareholdings.

SEC Newgate is a communications and advocacy group based on insight and research. It operates globally with headquarters in Milan. The team consists of approximately 1,200 professionals, 50 offices located in 22 countries around the world advising over 1,500 companies.

Investcorp is a global investment manager, specialising in alternative private equity investments in real estate, credit, absolute return strategies, GP stakes, infrastructure and insurance asset management. It has fourteen offices in the US, Europe, the Gulf States and Asia, including India, China, Japan and Singapore and employs around 500 people of 50 nationalities globally.

Investcorp’s investment will enable SEC Newgate to accelerate its development strategy, with a focus on expansion in the Emea and Apac regions, through organic growth and M&A. Since its delisting from the London Stock Exchange in March 2022 and the entry of Three Hills Capital Partners as a minority shareholder, SEC Newgate has grown rapidly and expanded in the US, Central and South America through acquisitions that are part of a truly ‘transformational project’.

Fiorenzo Tagliabue will remain CEO of SEC Newgate: “Investcorp’s investment will accelerate our transformation and fuel our development strategy to achieve global leadership in corporate communications and public affairs”, he commented.
