As part of the voluntary liquidation of Romi Italia, the Sandretto business, historical Italian brand of injection moulding machines for plastic, has been sold to a pool of Italian entrepreneurs, gathered under the newco Scout One, controlled by the listed company Photonike.

K Finance, partner of Clairfield International, together with the Brazilian office of Clairfield, has been financial advisor to Romi. The legal aspects for Romi were advised by Studio Bonelli Erede Pappalardo and the fiscal aspects by Studio Ramojno Germonio Barbera.

The business, sold for 1 Euro, consists of the plant in Pont Canavese (near Torino), the inventory, all the machinery and 138 employees.

The trademark Sandretto has been sold for 1 Euro from Romi to Regione Piemonte that, through the President Roberto Cota and the Council Member for Jobs and Professional Training Claudia Porchietto, has led an active role for the success of the deal that has saved many jobs.
