CEI – ALTO PARTNERS

Alto Partners Sgr, despite the global emergency period, bets on the Italian industry and buys CEI Costruzione Emiliana Ingranaggi group, based in Anzola dell’Emilia (Bologna) and active since 1969 in the marketing of undercarriage components for the truck spare parts sector. Alto Capital IV acquired the majority of CEI through a buyout transaction, while the Boni family remained with a significant minority shareholding and the operational management of the company.

The investment is aimed at accelerating the company’s development project through the establishment of an Italian hub for industrial vehicle spare parts. This involves both the acquisition of companies operating in industrial sectors adjacent to that of CEI and expansion on international markets. The company generates 62 million euros in turnover, about 85% of which is generated abroad.

The sellers were assisted by the financial advisor K Finance (Clairfield Italy) and for the legal aspects by Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners Studio Legale.
For Alto Partners the advisors were R&D Advisory, R&P Legal and goetzpartners.
